Salsa dance trips International

Dance program Salsa Holidays en Cuba

We start every day, with a warming up, followed by a small demonstration of the theme-lesson of that day. This can vary from Rumba or Mambo, to Son.These tipical Cuban dances are put into the Salsa figures straight after. The daily Theme lessons will give an inside of what dances the Cuban Salsa contains of, and give the possibility to master those specific dances.

All Salsa figures are taught straight away and shown how to use them in The Rueda. The Rueda is a Cuban circle dance, where all dancers do figure combination's at the same time, at the sign of 1 person standing within the circle. The ladies are being passed on to the next male dance partner in the circle. So both beginners and advanced dancers can enjoy this very popular group dance.

During the Theme lessons "Lady style" and "Male style", we pay attention to movements and pose so it can be exercised with passion and class.Since there's nearly always a shortage of male dancers on the European dance floor, we teach the man to be able to dance with 2 women at one's.The women learn a freestyle salsa in case there is no men available, or if the dance floor is too busy to dance as a couple.

The Theme lesson Rythme is being given by Cuban musicians; "Ï can not dance" or having 2 left feet doesn't exist with us.The Cuban salsa is based on one composition only. Its a matter of getting the knowledge and understanding what the music contains of, what music instruments give it its rythme and what is giving it its  melody.

Because you have your danceclases  one on one with a professional dance partner, who is your own and who finished the Cuban dance academy successfully. You have the chance to learn anything you want and to practice with your very own dance teacher.

All our dance partners can dance male and female styles, so if you as a woman want to learn the male style (or visa versa), than we will make that happen.
