The Salsa dance travels to Havana is very much suited for beginners that never had salsa lessons before, as well  for advanced dancers that feel they don't learn anything more at their regular salsa danceschools. Every participant will have their own Cuban dance partner. We also offer the possibility to learn male style or female style dancing, no matter if you are a male or female. Its is very useful to be able to dance both styles, since there is a shortage of men on the dancefloor in Europe.

Margarita Avila, born in Santiago de Cuba, where she worked as an professional dancer for 8 years,Tropicana Santiago to name one. She has danced in  shows in many countries like, Cuba, Colombia, Spain and France. Shortly after her arrival here she started her own dance school Soy Cuba and has developed it to one of the best Cuban dance schools in the Netherlands. She is now working together with Spirit of Havana and will work organise Salsa weekends in Amsterdam.

Mina has dancing in her blood. She began her dancing career in Istanbul, Turkey at the tender age of three. Starting with Turkisch Folkloric dance, including Belly dancing, she continued over the years with Modern dance, Rhythmio Gymnastics, Ballet and various Latin dances including Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Lambada Mambo, Merneque, Pachanga and of course SALSA.
