In collaboration between the best Cuban dance school in the Netherlands Soy Cuba and the pioneers of organised dance holidays to Cuba, Spirit of Havana, a new unique dance concept has been launched in Amsterdam. You have salsa lessons with a professional dance partner during the entire course.

A intensive dance course where every customer is guaranteed a dance partner during all the classes. A 3 day course with 3 hour dance classes every day. You will be introduced with different, Cuban dance styles that can be traced back to the Cuban salsa like, Rumba, Mambo and la Rueda. We pay attention to rhythm, style, pose and expression. At night we dive into the Amsterdam Salsa scene to practise new combinations and figures in an informal relax way.

Also we offer you the opportunity to learn the man style ore women style, regardless if you are a woman or a man. It is always very useful to know how to dance both styles, since in Europe there is almost always a shortage of men on the dance floor.

At night we jump straight into the swinging nightlife of Amsterdam where you can show off your new learned dance moves.

The dance course is open for salsa dancers of all levels; from absolute beginners to far advanced dancers, for young and old, singles or couples.

The classes and dance partners are supplied by Margarita Avila of dance school Soy Cuba. The accommodation and Salsa parties are in the hands of Karen Beerends organiser of Salsa dance holidays to Cuba by Spirit of Havana.

We organize every day an activity that can vary from a salsa matinee to concerts or salsa parties, where you will be accompanied by the salsa weekend dance team.

The team exists of a professional dance teacher, dance partners, a DJ, animation team and coordinator.

All of our dance partners are very skilled and experienced dancers, but if you prefer to dance with your own dance partner, that is of course also possible, if you both have the same dance level.
